The Malvarrosa beach is the most popular beach in Valencia. Its close proximity to the city and open space make it a fantastic beach to visit
Malvarrosa Beach (also written as Malva-Rosa) is the most popular beach out of all of the beaches in Valencia, Spain.
The Malvarrosa Beach in Valencia is a fine, gold-sanded beach that is always lively with local residents as well as tourists. It has great beachfront restaurants, bars, and shops that run along the beachside boardwalk, constructed in 1980.
The beach provides several first-aid posts and a bathing zone where people who are disabled can get assistance going into the water. Because of its close proximity to the city and its vast stretch of open beach, it is home to many activities and festivals.
Every year the Malvarrosa Beach in Valencia welcomes an air festival that is celebrated directly in front of the boardwalk. Airplanes from around Spain and its army air corps, with planes also coming from surrounding countries, participate in this annual event. Another celebration on the beach is the Neapolitan mascletá, which occurs during the Valencian Fallas in March. During the summer, various firework displays are exhibited during the July festival season.
