Turia River Gardens, in Spanish “Jardín del Túria“, is one of the best places to visit in Valencia. It is the largest urban garden in Spain. It’s one of the many parks in Valencia.
Turia River Garden is a public park of 110 hectares and was founded in 1986 several decades after the great flood in Valencia. After the flood, the City Council and the Government of Spain decided to make in its place an area of leisure as well as nature for locals and visitors.
Turia Gardens opened in 1986 and cut across Valencia from the City of Arts and Sciences to Viveros Park and ending at Bioparc.
Turia River Garden also has many ancient bridges such as Puente de Serranos, Puente de San José, Pont de Fusta, Puente de la Trinidad, Puente del Ángel Custodio, Puente de Aragón and Puente del Reino.
