Rialto Theater

Rialto Theater is located in Ayuntamiento Square. It was a project carried out by architect Cayetano Borso di Carminat for Galindo Gonzalez family.

Rialto Theater was built in 1939 at it responds to the rationalist style, but has some influences of “Art Deco”. The structure is quite complex: in the beginning it had a cinema, a tea room and and a restaurant. After its restoration a room for film projections was built, sucha as a small theater room, a Music-hall in the basement and the Rialto theater, that gives the name to the building.

Rialto Theatre is one of the best known theaters in Valencia and offers the best performances for local people and visitors.
