Cabecera Park is located at the end of the old Turia River. It was designed to recreate the native landscape and bank of Turia River. It’s one of the many parks in Valencia.
The vegetation in Cabecera Park is the same one that populates the river. This park is made up of Mediterranean pines, elms, and exotic trees and is considered one of the most beautiful gardens in Valencia.
Different artificial spaces have been recreated in Cabecera Park, such as the installment of little islands at the foot of small hills overlooking the park. From here you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Natural Park Sierra Calderona. Cabecera park offers several facilities such as a resting area, a playground, and the “Moli del Sol”- the future Turia Museum. You may also rent a small boat within the park.
If you want to discover every corner of the city, make sure you incorporate Cabecera Park in your tour of exploring Valencia.
