Enjoy a summer's night listening to live musical performances at the Oceanographic!
With summer coming to a full swing, Valencia is jam packed with local events and other things to do in Valencia. From the July Fair to the Viveros Garden Concerts, the city is making sure that your summer in Valencia will forever be one to remember.
If you’re looking for a laid back event that takes you out of the summer’s sun, then the City of Arts and Sciences has the solution for you. Beginning July 15 until August 31, the Oceanographic Valencia will be extending its hours to visitors for its nightly event, Oceanographic Nights.
These extended nighttime hours let visitors stay inside the park until 1:00 a.m. where each exhibit will have its own musical fare to it. What better way to spend a hot summers night than walking through an aquarium watching marine life swim and float around to the sound of music?
Each section within the Oceanographic will have designated live music: classical music in the Oval Room, jazz in the Submarine Restaurant lounge, gipsy jazz in the Oceano Restaurant and the Antarctic Terrace. Here guests will be given the chance to enjoy soothing music to the aquariums or habitats that surround them.
As if that wasn’t enticing enough, the park will also be offering a special night time performance at the delphinium. Guests will be able to watch and listen to live orchestrated music paired with the dolphins acrobatics. Where else can you see this unique performance?
